Andy is a close friend that had been requesting a painting of her for her husband. Having never done a full body before, and a nude one at that, I was somewhat apprehensive at first but came around to the challenge. With this painting I knew I wanted to achieve a take on a classic nude portrait done in rich oils on a sedate background of soft silk. It was very tastefully done so that she would be proud to show off to family and friends.
